Will cloudy weather hurt performance?+
No. High-efficiency panels and microinverters perform well in diffuse light, which is most of the year in Western Washington. We use shading analysis and historical weather data to size each system accurately, so your buyers get realistic performance projections, not optimistic guesses.
Can solar costs be bundled into the construction loan?+
Yes, most lenders allow solar to be included in construction financing when it’s part of the original build scope. We can provide the system spec and cost documentation your lender needs. Some programs also allow the buyer to roll it into their permanent mortgage at closing.
Does it delay the build?+
Not when planned early. We coordinate permitting and inspections in parallel with your other trades, so there’s no last-minute scramble. Most of our permit approvals come back within 2–3 weeks, well ahead of when installation is needed on a typical build schedule.
What if HOAs push back on visible panels?+
Washington law generally protects a homeowner’s right to install solar, even in HOA communities. If an HOA raises concerns during construction, we can provide a compliance summary and connect you with resources that address common objections before they become a buyer issue.
