How It Started
From IT Services to Renewable Energy
Co-founders Brian Ray and Trevor Bigelow spent over a decade building an IT professional services company before exiting in 2022 and turning their attention to renewable energy. During that period, they closely followed advancements in solar technology and recognized that Washington State was increasingly well-positioned to benefit from it. Wanting to help homeowners start producing their own clean energy, they formed Solphos soon after.
Drawing on a wide professional network, they brought an experienced team of installers to Seattle in late 2023. Combining local market knowledge with more than 15 years of combined commercial and residential solar experience, Solphos was built to remove the sales layer that drives up the cost of solar everywhere else.
