Step 1
Design & Cost Estimate
Request a proposal with a few details about your home, energy use, and location. Our design team builds a 3D model of your roof using LiDAR-based shade analysis, satellite imagery, and historical weather data, then designs a panel layout matched to your exact dimensions.
You’ll receive a detailed estimate by email covering costs, projected savings, and relevant incentives. An on-site visit finalizes the numbers, so nothing is overlooked.

Step 2
Site Visit & Proposal Review
Once you’ve reviewed your initial estimate, we schedule a site visit to validate the design. We examine your roof, surrounding environment, and any unique aspects of your home to confirm the initial findings and boost both performance and longevity.
During the visit, we walk through expected production, equipment choices, and timeline. Adjustments can be made on the spot. Sign digitally on-site or take up to 30 days to review. No pressure, just clarity.

Step 3
Permitting & Scheduling
Our team manages local electrical permitting and utility paperwork, keeping you informed throughout. Once approvals are secured, you’ll pick an installation date from available time slots, and we order hardware and finalize the schedule.

Step 4
Installation Day
We email detailed instructions as your date nears. On installation day, our crew arrives, gives a quick recap of the process, and requests access to the necessary areas of your home. The work typically takes 1–3 days depending on complexity and weather, mounting panels, inverters, and wiring to best-practice standards, with progress updates throughout.

Step 5
Inspection & Post-Installation
We handle the closing electrical inspection with your local authority and manage net metering or utility signoffs so your system can be safely energized. Once approved, you start producing solar power and potentially feeding surplus energy back to the grid.
Finally, we schedule a short wrap-up call to walk through your system and hand off your final documents. Whether you’re in Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, or beyond, Solphos provides dependable support long after commissioning.
